Singapore Art Week 2018


The National Arts Council of Singapore wanted to better utilise their social media platforms to engage the public during 2018’s edition of Singapore Art Week. Throughout the 3-month campaign period, the team produced 177 pieces of social media content, 1 teaser video, 3 promotional videos, and 1 post-event video, significantly increasing their social media following and engagement rates.

I helmed the design aspect of things—from concepting, storyboarding and illustrating the teaser video, to crafting all social content pieces for their Facebook and Instagram pages.

Netflix and Woof


The Netflix and Woof adoption drive was jointly organised by Netflix and Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) as part of the shelter’s fundraising efforts. Visitors had the opportunity to meet (and potentially adopt!) the shelter dogs, get caricatures of their canine companions drawn by an artist, and even pose for a photo or two at the photo booth. The event culminated in an outdoor screening of Netflix’s Benji.


To generate buzz for the event, we did a very special photoshoot with some of the shelter dogs, and placed them in some of Netflix’s most iconic shows! The created images were shared on Netflix’s and SOSD’s Facebook and Instagram pages over the week leading up to the adoption drive.

A Netflix Chinese New Year


As part of Netflix's Chinese New Year media push for the region, the team created a series of four infographics that cleverly weaved iconic Netflix shows into Chinese New Year stories and traditions that people were already familiar with.

The infographics were picked up by several media outlets in the region, notably by: Milk Magazine (HK), Apple Daily (TW), JUICE (MY), Woah! (MY), Teenage (SG) and Zaobao (SG).

Netflix 2018 Calendar


In November 2017, I was given the opportunity to produce original artwork for Netflix's 2018 calendar. Netflix sent this calendar as a token of appreciation to their media partners and anyone who has lent the team support over the past year.

The calendar featured 12 characters from popular Netflix original series alongside one of their most memorable quotes. Localised versions of the calendar were created for the Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.

INSEAD


VML Singapore was engaged by INSEAD to drive the revamp of their institutional website, internal digital properties as well as additional digital touch points globally. The process started out with re-imagining user flows, content layout and presentation, to ultimately delivering customised information to diverse user groups in six clicks or less.


Using wireframes as a starting point, I worked closely with the UX team to flesh out each page in the approved look and feel. Each element on desktop also has to translate smoothly into smaller displays such as tablet and mobile. Tablet and mobile adaptations of the pages were also created during the process.
